WHO IS SERPRO ELECTRIC

 

SERPRO Electric is a licensed and insured T&D engineering and field services provider.

Our team has vast knowledge in designing low to high voltage substations for several utilities across the United States. SERPRO specializes in bridging the gap between substation design and construction for the electric utility industry. Substation engineering protection & control

  • Review customer engineering and design package released for the project to verify that all the equipment delivered to the construction site as part of the investment, was designed and built as per customer’s engineering and operating standards.
  • Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
  • Perform Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT)
  • Perform station

  • Perform station functional and operational checks prior to energization.
  • Complete and submit to the customer all paperwork produced during testing and commissioning at the construction site.
  • Prepare and submit to the customer as-builts produced at the construction site.
  • Provide support during the interconnection and energization of the project.
  • Project closure (technical, financial)
  • Perform Field Apparatus Testing:
  •  Implement and test relay settings (review settings and prepare relay test plans) for all type of protective devices and technologies (SEL, ABB, GE, SIEMENS, others):

  • Install, configure, test, and commission Substation Automation Systems (SAS):
    • RTUs
    • HMIs
    • Relay and Substation Data/Communication Processors using multiple manufacturers technologies (NovaTech, SEL, EFACEC, ARTECHE, others) and multiple communication protocols (TCP/IP, IEC 103, IEC 104, Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, others)
